JR Veterinary is always looking for ways to get involved with our local community and help our own and others mental health and wellbeing. 👏
As part of this we have decided to get involved with sponsorship of two sports teams that are close to the heart of our Director Janko. Sport can play a vital part in helping improve a person’s wellbeing, and was something JR felt impacted hugely during the pandemic when it all came to a halt.
The first is Janks netball team whom she is heavily involved with both on and off the court. The Cowick Cats Netball Club has a range of teams from tots to adults and is based in Exeter. Being a grassroots club they rely heavily on the support of local businesses and funding to enable the players to compete. 🏐
The second club, takes up a lot of spare time from Jane, Janks and Gary with their support and involvement across the country. Taunton Titans are a National League rugby club playing in the English third tier. Gary has been playing and coaching at Taunton for over 12 years and was joined on the field by Jane’s son (Janks’ brother) 8 years ago. As a result, support of the team has seen Jane and Janks travelling all across the country. 🏉
All sports teams and clubs crucially rely on local support. At JR we are extremely proud to be able to support these local clubs. ❤️🖤
